If requested, I can completely delete your account from our records. Contact us at info@northernspindles.co.uk.  Card details are not held and and your information will not be shared or sold to any third party.  I use Stripe to process payment transactions and those transactions are subject to the Stripe privacy policies.


Any item or order may be cancelled prior to packing, please contact me by email on info@northernspindles.co.uk to cancel an item or order.

Returns Policy

I hope you'll never need to return an item but if for any reason you are unhappy please get in touch by email at info@northernspindles.co.uk straight away and I'll do my best to sort any problems.

If you've bought your items online  you have the right to a cooling off period which lasts for 14 days after receipt of the goods. You must notify me of your change of mind in writing and items must be returned in original packaging and in a resaleable condition. Your payment will be refunded within 14 days. Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Damaged/Missing Goods

Please allow plenty of time before getting in touch about a missing order as it may still be in transit. Royal Mail do not allow claims for missing post until 15 working days have elapsed. If after this time you still have not received your goods then your money will be refunded (since a direct replacement is not possible) and I will make a claim for lost post. Should the parcel be subsequently delivered please notify me immediately.  Please note I do not take responsibility for lost items in the post.

Do not accept any package if it appears damaged in any way, and please notify me within 7 days of delivery if you have refused the package, or if items are missing from the package.

Delivery Requests

Spindles are normally sent by Royal Mail First Class post. If you have any special requests for delivery (e.g. leave with neighbour) then please add them in the order comments field and we will add a note to your parcel. If this note is not acted upon by the delivery agent we are not responsible.  If the request creates a risk of loss or damage to the parcel it will not be added.


 All prices shown are inclusive of VAT at 20% and are subject to change without prior notice. Prices are in pounds sterling and any currency conversion will be carried out by your card provider. All payments must be made in pounds sterling.

Colour Disclaimer

I try very hard to ensure that colour reproductions are accurate throughout the site. However, due to the varying nature of individual computer screens (not to mention eyesight!) I cannot be held responsible if a particular colour or shade does not match your expectations

If you receive a product which is not how you expected you can return the item under the Sale of Goods Act.  For more detail see the returns policy above.
